Jimmy Choo 24:7
What Donna Karan did for a capsule wardrobe, Jimmy Choo is doing for shoes — creating a stable of every day staples that any woman can rely on, day or night. I’m not much of a Choo fan, preferring Louboutins (in theory more than in practice, unfortunately) but when I came across the 24:7 collection at NAP, I really liked the concept and the shoes, which range in heel height and come in essential colors and styles, suited for a wide range of women and professions.
I’ve been jonesing for a pair of nude heels to wear in the summer time, and both the Private ($950) and Gilbert ($495) are worthy of consideration.
The Dalton ($775) would be a great go-to for any evening look and the Quiet ($665) in fire engine red is anything but.
I also have a great amount of respect for Tamara Mellon, the CEO, who has against tough odds, managed to guide the Choo ship out of some stormy waters. To learn even more about the collection, check out this video:
