Montauk Weekend

June 2, 2010

My friends and I are doing a summer share out at Montauk this summer – it’s my first time out in the Hamptons and last weekend was my inaugural trip out to the shore.

Montauk is really great — its quiet, with cute little restaurants. We are lucky enough to be staying right on a private beach, and our house has a fantastic roof deck looking out to the ocean, so all my tanning and relaxing needs are totally taken care of this summer.

My favorite meal of the weekend had to be the lobster rolls at Duryea’s Lobster Shack, which has the best sunset views on the whole of Montauk. The rolls had sweet, meaty chunks of lobster with just enough mayo to keep it moist and the bun was soft and chewy, just the way I like it! I have to say Luke’s still holds top spot, but hanging out at Duryea’s was definitely an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Can’t wait for my next weekend back!!
